After a comprehensive refurbishment, the planetarium reopened - with new ZEISS VELVET projectors - ensuring the immersive 360 degree adventures would continue in brilliant image quality. The successful open weekend saw over 11,000 visitors show up to enjoy free entry, with astronomy, laser and music shows as well as school specials.
