It was neat to see the supermoon back illuminate the buildings and towers as it rose. The foreground is the ivy on the perimeter wall of my condo complex. The Moon images were taken with a Canon 6D with a Tamron zoom lens set to 329mm, f/10, 1/60 second, ISO-400; too dark to show the landscape and foreground. I waited until well-after the Moon moved out of the field of view so I wouldn’t get any gradients, and I took a 4 second exposure of the scene. I then combined the images in PhotoShop with a routine that retains the brightest pixels from each of the component images.
