IN APRIL THE NEW ESO SUPERNOVA PLANETARIUM AND VISITOR CENTER WILL BE OPENED TO THE PUBLIC.

In April the new ESO Supernova Planetarium and Visitor Center will be opened to the public. The 21 degrees tilted dome theater measures 14 m in diameter and features a multi-channel ZEISS powerdome VELVET fulldome system. The ESO Science Outreach Network just released beautiful high-resolution images of the new theater.
