SUPERNOVA 2017EAW Taken by Thomas Becker on May 18, 2017 @ Starpark Westhavelland, Germany



On 14. May 2017 the supernova 2017eaw in the galaxy NGC 6946 was discovered. with 12,6 mag the SN is very bright and an easy target for small telescopes. I could observe the the supernova in the beautiful galaxy on 18. May and have took this picture in the starpark Westhavelland near Berlin, Germany.
