I like astronomy, archaeology, photography, music and drinking a lot of tea. I hate politics. Something that annoys me: that I shall not respect the permanence, and to take me by what I'm not. The best sign: VIRGO. The worst: the health. The best: adapt and know how to get ahead. THE PACMAN NEBULA - NGS 281 Taken by Wayne Hixson on September 29, 2018 @ Seattle, WA
Narrowband image of the PacMan Nebula, also known as NGC281, imaged over several nights in North Seattle. Love the great combination of colors of the Oxygen (blue) and the Red-gold of the Hydrogen and Sulfur gases. Located about 10,000 light years away and about the size of the full moon! About 5 hours of exposures, processed in Astro Pixel Processor and Photoshop by Wayne Hixson and in Images Plus by Charles Chiofar.
