STORY: Early Friday morning at the base of Mt Evans in Colorado, I spent 2-1/2 hours shooting the Geminid Meteor Shower out on the Ice of Echo Lake. Sometime around 2:30am I witnessed the biggest brightest meteor I had ever seen. After it burned up, it left some sort of vapor or ion trail that took a several minutes to disappear. Super cool experience which I will never forget!
