ZEISS INTRODUCED THE NEW GENERATION OF VELVET PROJECTORS

World premiere at the Meeting of the German Planetarium Association in Kiel. ZEISS introduced the new generation of VELVET projectors, the only projectors in the world specially designed and manufactured for planetarium domes and simulator applications. The VELVET LED projector features RGB LED light sources and provides more colors, more sharpness and more details at significantly reduced operating costs. Due to its Black Projection Technology VELVET LED does not show any grey background. The deep black and the best optics in the industry deliver brilliant images. Visitors experienced stunning three-dimensional looking flights through space without glasses and highly saturated colors. The images on the dome appear much sharper than their resolution would suggest.
