Tutankhamun Gold Mask Back in its Original Showcase

Finally the Famous Mask of the Boy King is in display at its original place inside the Egyptian Museum- Tahrir Square after the restoration team has finished all the required restoration and research works that lasted for around 8 weeks.

A press conference will be held next Wednesday December 16th, 2015 to announce all the details concerning the Mask and its restoration process. The conference will be headed by Dr. Eldamaty, Minister of Antiquities and attended by Prof. Dr. Stephan Seidlmayer, Director of the German Archaeological Institute in Cairo, Dr. Christian Ekmann, Head of the German- Egyptian restoration team and H.E the German Ambassador in Egypt.
