I like astronomy, archaeology, photography, music and drinking a lot of tea. I hate politics. Something that annoys me: that I shall not respect the permanence, and to take me by what I'm not. The best sign: VIRGO. The worst: the health. The best: adapt and know how to get ahead. COMET 252P/LINEAR & MILKY WAY Taken by Mike Taylor on April 4, 2016 @ Marshall Point Lighthouse - Port Clyde, Maine
Marshall Point lighthouse is one of our favorite spots to shoot at night. In this image the ‘wagon wheel’ effect from the astragals in the towers cap design adds to the otherworldly feel as the photogenic core section of the Milky Way stretches through the scene. Comet 252P/LINEAR can also be seen as a green spot above and slightly to the left of the galactic core. http://miketaylorphoto.com
