I like astronomy, archaeology, photography, music and drinking a lot of tea. I hate politics. Something that annoys me: that I shall not respect the permanence, and to take me by what I'm not. The best sign: VIRGO. The worst: the health. The best: adapt and know how to get ahead. COMET JOHNSON Taken by Jan Curtis on March 17, 2017 @ Cheyenne, WY
Nikon d7100, Nikon 180mm f/2.8 @ f4, iso 1600, 42x90s. Fixed on stars. Comet Johnsons movement from 11:01 PM to 12:04AM was only ~4 pixels; thus there is very little drift detected with the comet. It appears somewhat brighter and greener than a month ago but is still very small (quite a distance from the earth and sun).
One image is with the comet fixed and the other is with the stars fixed.
Temperature was 43F under very good conditions.
