In May we finished a technical upgrade of the Mark IX UNIVERSARIUM projector at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. The machine received new hardware and new software for future-proof operation. Patrick So, responsible for the planetarium technique said: "Zeiss service engineers Ralph Grosse and Frank Bronsert did a wonderful job upgrading the motor control system on our Universarium MIX at Griffith Observatory. We look forward to seeing them again for the LED upgrade. My thanks to Zeiss for your many years of service and support.
