I like astronomy, archaeology, photography, music and drinking a lot of tea. I hate politics. Something that annoys me: that I shall not respect the permanence, and to take me by what I'm not. The best sign: VIRGO. The worst: the health. The best: adapt and know how to get ahead. TRIANGULAR GLOW AROUND SUN Taken by Ian Carstairs on June 3, 2019 @ Harleston, Norfolk, UK
The sun was strangely and greatly magnified by the atmosphere, well above the horizon. Though bright I could nevertheless see unusual shaped-glow like a triangle, or maybe a distorted light pillar with components above and below the sun, thus not something in the camera. Is this a phenomenon, or just a quirk?
