I like astronomy, archaeology, photography, music and drinking a lot of tea. I hate politics. Something that annoys me: that I shall not respect the permanence, and to take me by what I'm not. The best sign: VIRGO. The worst: the health. The best: adapt and know how to get ahead. SPRING EQUINOX SUNSET Taken by Peter Lowenstein on September 22, 2016 @ Mutare, Zimbabwe
Today, 22 September, is the Spring Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere and in Mutare the sun set behind Murahwa Mountain almost exactly half way between last winters solstice sunset (right) and the previous summer solstice sunset (left) in the accompanying mosaic. The sky was hazy resulting in bright reflected color in the three close-up views. These were taken with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 camera in sunset scenery mode.
