With two sizeable and persistent coronal holes on opposite sides of the Sun, over the past three months Earth has been subjected to regular blasts of solar wind in time with the Suns rotation period, but at a spacing of approximately 14 days because of their antipodal spacing. The resulting geomagnetic storms created beautiful aurora and the local disturbances within Earths magnetic field were detected on my magnetometer here in the UK.
I like astronomy, archaeology, photography, music and drinking a lot of tea. I hate politics. Something that annoys me: that I shall not respect the permanence, and to take me by what I'm not. The best sign: VIRGO. The worst: the health. The best: adapt and know how to get ahead.
