AN EGYPTIAN ARCHAEOLOGICAL MISSION FROM THE MINISTRY OF ANTIQUITIES UNCOVERED FIVE ROMAN TOMBS DURING EXCAVATION WORKS CARRIED OUT IN THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE NAMED BEI'R AL-SHAGHALA IN DAKHLA OASIS. DR AYMA ASHMAWI, HEAD OF THE ANCIENT EGYPTIAN ANTIQUITIES SECTOR AT THE MINISTRY EXPLAINS THAT THE TOMBS ARE BUILT IN MUD-BRICK AND THE FIRST ONE HAS AN ENTRANCE THAT LEADS TO A RECTANGULAR HALL WITH TWO BURIAL CHAMBERS.
