ZODIAC LIGHTS, MILKY WAY, ANDROMEDA, IRIDIUM FLARE Taken by Jeff Dixon on March 16, 2017 @ Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada

Its been a long time since Ive seen the zodiac lights, a few years anyway. Finally got a good shot of them with my d610 and new tamron 15-30 lens. The Milky Way, Andromeda galaxy and an Iridium flare also decided to join in on all the fun making this sky image on of my more interesting captures to date. Image was shot over the eastern shores of Lake Superior (Ontario side). Compacted ice with wind blown snow created a great foreground to complement the sky. Stacked images for the sky to reduce noise 5x3min @800 iso with a single image for the foreground (400iso) taken during blue hour.
