The Birla Planetarium in Kolkata reopened after a yearlong period of reconstruction. The Sanchi Stupa-styled building was renovated and the planetarium technique completely modernized with a ZEISS STARMASTER VELVET system. The hybrid functionality was the major consideration in the selection process of the new planetarium system. Our best wishes for the continuos success to our friends in India!
