New image of comet C/2016 R2 (PANSTARRS) on January 11, 2018. Part of a set of photographs taken from Teide Observatory using a camera lens during days of comet maximum activity. In this image with a field of 4x3° its blue tail appears confused between galactic cirrus in Taurus.
