THE HEART NEBULA Taken by Wayne Hixson on October 10, 2018 @ Seattle, WA




Large glowing nebula in Cassiopeia. Part of the larger Heart and Soul complex. This is a monochrome 2-panel mosaic taken with an ASI1600 camera using a Hydrogen Alpha filter. The Heart is about 2.5 degrees in size, or 5 times the size of the full moon
